You may Study Engineering With Your Grade Nine Certificate At False Bay TVET College



The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is in the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school model is not the only helpful means of studying. Their NCV programmes are created for students who would like to commence their journey toward a satisfying job early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Division for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their range of courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses start off at NCV level two plus the bare minimum prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

As soon as the student finishes NCVLevel two, they would then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, remaining equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 click here is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV amount 2 and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which sort of scholars are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that regular schooling will not be necessarily the sole technique for starting to be an artisan or turning into experienced so if a student knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is in fact perfectly suited for that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
